# Proof of Reserve

Chainlink's Proof of Reserve (PoR) service for the FBTC project implements a robust and transparent reserve verification system that continuously monitors BTC reserves through a decentralized oracle network. \

The system automatically updates on-chain reserve data at regular intervals, ensuring the 1:1 peg between FBTC and its BTC backing is maintained through multiple protocols.
